Start->Chapter 1->Episode 22 To Lucinda
Oh the divas are all busy having wars over who gets to be social queen of the moment. Despite her being completely without comment my sister manages to be in the midst of these silly escapades, I wonder if she instigates some of the rivalry so she can sit back and enjoy the ensuing floor show. Come to think of it, I have never seen Liselle actually make a comment about anything, she merely lifts an eyebrow and people run off before she opens her mouth. Somewhere, sometime I think my lovely older sister decimated someone so tragically that the entire town is afraid of her scorn my only regret is that I was not about to enjoy the moment.
I on the other hand do enjoy her passion, in every sense of the word, my sister and I in our past have enjoyed closeness others never would have dreamed existed. I would still be enjoying her only I was distracted by my little cousin and then subsequently I have discovered my pure, innocent untouched minxie who has no idea about the travesties people call life in this town. She plays so innocently amongst the sheep she calls friends never sensing that her path in life has already been determined by me.
I felt the absence of minxie today as she was not to be found in her place of employment and not at the local café, she remained quietly at home and I took the opportunity to tend to the annoyances in life that would come between me and my quest. At this moment my life was full of business, keeping Elyce from meddling in my plans with her son of Vanderhag obsession, enjoying the battling divas and keeping a watchful eye on Liselle and her wine baron. I also liked to keep an eye on the minor bedroom skirmishes of others such as the Sedero Sleaze and this new king of porn, who has been remarkably quiet of late. No so his shrewish wife who is throwing money at everything that moves in the hope of gaining social acceptance. I think I might throw Caspar at her and use this to gain insight into the king and his financial empire. There is precious little rest for the man who owns the world.
