I told Caspar to enjoy having me drive him about for a few days as I have reasons for going to visit the Vanderhag’s home. He did not know it was mainly due to minxie’s obsession with the younger son and I wished to personally keep abreast of her activities, but Caspar was not fooled for a moment. He knew I was after her and after giving me a very considered look said that he did not feel she was of my usual standard of prey for the amount of effort I was displaying. I became almost offended and remarked this was not entertainment this was love! Caspar laughed the entire drive there.
