Start->Chapter 2->Episode 1 To Lucinda
I went for lunch at minxie’s place of work today and the cheeky little devil appeared to be tormenting the apeboy with glee. I saw him red faced with consternation while mischief poured from the corners of her smile and I have never wished death upon another so readily. Do not confuse the pangs of ownership with those of jealousy, for I am always in control of my interior it is merely that her emotions are now my property and should not be wasted upon the fools surrounding her.
I was joined by Caspar who decided that occupying his enemy's territory for lunch would be entertaining, and lo it was! The look on dear little Cameo's face when she saw us dining quite comfortably while she was designing the luncheon Caspar had dumped was priceless. I attempted to catch minxie’s eye but she was either avoiding me with studious grace or too involved in tormenting the fool before her. If it was the former then she plays a dangerous game and if it is the latter then she plays an even more dangerous game by revealing herself to be worthy of my attentions.
Caspar a man after my own heart and perhaps a few other agendas as well murmured nothing is more attractive than a women willing to torture a man. Appreciating his discerning eye I suggested that he whisper in Vanderhag’s ear that a liaison between her aimless son and Elyce would be considered a desirable affluence for all as it was worth a nice shiny new car to him. Not that my dear cousin wishes to enter the hag's family but she really must be punished for avoiding my instruction, I really am amazed at this time in her life she felt it safe to disobey me, perhaps she requires a night of my attentions to remind her of what her life could be. In my world the vixen will always succumb to the fox.
