One Woman Two Many

I was enjoying a quiet latte with Caspar who was enjoying a pseudo state of recluse after his Vanderhag triumph. He had been accepting accolades from various hags who were booking him for a marvelous little soiree of only a hundred or so and as I watched Caspar over my coffee it occurred to me he was a bit of a show pony enjoying the attention. Although I had rewarded him for his part in the great alliance of the Dubois/Vanderhag household in the form of a lovely Jaguar, he would be wise to remember just where his bounty originates from. Although the pending engagement announcement had been temporarily delayed I knew the knowledge of this would be enough to drive my sister Liselle to distraction and serve as lovely punishment for her continued obsession of the baron.

I sat there nurturing the last vision I had of minxie, which was her driving her car at perilous speed directly towards me and my enjoyment of her ire was quite sexual, how adorable she was with her face grim while she negotiated around me in top gear. Here I was hoping and wondering if she would pop in with the mindless pack she appears to be part of when the minor son of Vanderhag turns up. That of course was not of interest but what was of interest was the giggly bit of fluff on his arm. I had seen her as part of minxie's group, a vacant blonde of delicate proportions and vapid presentation. How my little cousin would glare veils of acid at this little tryst. To concern myself would bespeak of two things, one that I believed this sop could interfere with my intent and two that Elyce could not deal with this little chicken. My confidence in the ability of Elyce to dispose of interruptions was of course a talent that Dubois women are famous for. I went back to dreaming of my adorable minxie driving right through my heart.
