Tit for Tat

Tit for Tat

My poor little cousin has suddenly discovered that she does not quite have the power over men that my illustrious sister is renowned for. It appears that the little kitten who captured the attention of the minor son of Vanderhag has a much stronger grip on him than he has fear of family disapproval for he and the kitten have quite happily set up a romance right under the rather put out nose of a sulky Elyce.

When I finally caught up with my cousin she was, as the young often are, devoid of plan or direction so I gave her the benefit of my wisdom and told her to cultivate the correct friendships and wait for an opportune opening, for despite her porcelain exterior my cousin is beautiful as a delicate vase and as deadly as its splintered shards.

She needs to learn the value of being invisible and allowing a casual statement here and there to do the work for her instead of chasing men down with the subtlety of a tank. Elyce had gotten too used to the power of the scare tactic, something she learned while at school but now free of the shackles of school politics, a captured friendship pool, and childish fears, her social group have discovered an entire alternate world where they can choose their associates. Elyce has not yet acquired the refined essence of Dubois manipulations, she requires a swift and if not quickly applied, brutal education.

I have done nothing but think of my little minxie since our fateful kiss and how my loins long to give her the benefit of my full attention. I have decided I will call on an old friend who owes me many favours, one purry little Lynx as she will do my bidding and grant me the access I require. Instead of reality my little treasure, I will visit you in dreams and soon it will be you purring in my ear while I enjoy the true meaning of ravish.
