Unwise Confessions

Today my little minxie caused me much displeasure, displeasure of the kind that warrants punishment and my anger burned like black ice causing my heart to harden into a small stone made of wrath.

After being occupied with business matters, yes even a gentleman of leisure needs to keep his finances in order, I allowed myself some time devoted to discovering the latest adventures of minxie so I called around to discover what adventures she had been having in my absence. As I surveyed her usual haunts I found I had missed her at the local coffee house by minutes and a sweet regret filled me for I was now free to torment her for the rest of the afternoon.

I may have missed her in person but thoughts of her lingered in the air as she appeared to be the centre of the eternal font of those who revel in idle gossip only the dear girl had been anything but idle, in fact she had been outspoken and shocking.

Minxie had an unwise rendezvous with the sister of monkey boy. Why these two would suddenly be having a little tęte á tęte over coffee is beyond my comprehension but then it gets far worse for minxie suddenly and most vexatiously shouts out that she was in love with monkey boy. Of course there were many variations upon a theme and half the room decided she had shouted out that she did not love monkey boy while the other claimed she did. Of course I shall believe it was the former because it were the latter I would be forced to punish my little minxie in the most covert and vicious manner. I comfort myself in the knowledge that she is far too intelligent to align herself with one who would share his bed with Lynx and I must remind myself to reinforce monkey boy’s indiscretion in her mind with some display of vulgarity. How busy the life a man of leisure can be!
