A Loose Noose

A Loose Noose

My errant sister decided to create a peace of sorts between us by mentioning that she had seen minxie during her visit to dear Caspar. I had never understood the sly friendship between them as I had introduced them when Caspar had been firmly entrenched in my bed and he would not have dared seduce my sister until long after I had finished with him. She had descended upon him for one of her covert lunches and had noticed that minxie was looking forlorn and alone so I wonder if she mentions this in an attempt to have me assume guilt or to please me that my plan is affecting her perfectly.

I remained aloof to her news as I am still suspect of her motive for speaking to minxie. She has an unnatural affection for this girl that is perplexing and contrary to my plans which has me considering if I should aid her in the seduction of the Vanderhag’s husband as it would remove her from the sphere of minxie and one less support for my girl is one step closer to me.

I sit here now gazing at pictures of my precious courtesy of a little discrete observation service and I am consumed again and again with passion for her fresh untouched beauty. It has cost me a pretty packet to have her watched but I consider this well spent if it keeps her safe from the unwanted advances of ignorant ape boys and the unsuitable advice of well meaning bystanders and my interfering family.

I am at a loss as to why these creatures who have never been concerned over the fate of anyone else I have manipulated, twist and even place themselves in danger of my wrath in order to protect minxie. My sister, my notorious aunt, even Caspar who owes me his very soul have attempted to warn her about me. This is all unacceptable and I realise I have been far too lax allowing these people freedom to make decisions without my permission, it is time for me to tighten a few nooses.
