Start->Chapter 3->Episode 2 To Lucinda
As I went about my life today I found myself in a part of town that minxie happened to live so I decided it would be harmless if I drove down her street to see what type of hovel housed my poor princess. To my surprise I discovered her sitting in her car in the driveway and not wishing for her to become aware of my presence I parked discretely down the street for I wished to observe her from a distance.
A few minutes later she was driving and it did not take me long to discover that her journey appeared to be aimless, my poor precious, had the antics of monkey boy finally drive you insane? I was indeed curious as to where she would finally wind up and stayed just out of her sight as she meandered about town not appearing to have any destination in mind.
Straying from her usual haunts she started drifting northward until she reached the bohemian centre of Northside which housed the more artistic and intellectual part of town, better known as those without money, influence or power, not like the society ladies and the scones of the Southside.
Minxie parked and wandered into a favorite cafe of mine and I was quite pleased for if she thought she could escape me by changing her habits she was mistaken. I make it my job to know every interesting place in this town and to know where minxie is at all times so it would be inevitable that the two should meet at some point.
I watched her sit with a rather charming school friend of hers who would have got my blood stirring had she not been the spawn of one Vanderhaven, the blonde songbird with fire burning in her eyes. Of course my sister's tiresome fixation on this man really curtails my amusement and I must limit myself to females she is not affiliated with in some way so I left minxie to her little chitchat and knew that when she least expected I would be there to make her skin pale and heart flutter. How I adore the taste of angst on a young girl's lips.
