Unwise Choices

Minxie my darling girl has been seen wandering about town with the mountain, despite my visual, verbal and obvious disapproval, yet again. My discontent has seeped through the town like a black cloud and everyone it appears had taken note but her. She forces me into positions I do not care for, she forces me into revelations that are foreign, she forces me into the knowledge that others are now privy to my obsessions and more importantly lack of result. Never before have I been thwarted as she does, if she were some wayside miss I could have forced myself upon her and shoved money into her mouth until her offended cries fade away but no, she is one of the premier daughters of this town and even I will walk softly in my seduction.

I find her on my mind even though I did not chose to have her there, she torments my loins like an itch I cannot scratch and no amount of conquests sates the fires within me. I felt the sting of anger caress me as the shadow of a mountain fell between us, minxie my dearest love when you take away my peace of mind I am forced to take away a piece of your heart. You have seen what a Dubois can do, you lived in this town for your entire life and yet here you are dallying with a man whose secrets would crumble your hopes like dust in the wind.

I am not one to hinder and I am not one to ignore, minxie you foolish girl, I will take away everything you care for if it stands between me and my desire so why do you dance on the edge of disaster, can you not see it is you who brings the destruction upon others, not I.
