Start->Chapter 3->Episode 28 To Lucinda
Today started out the way promising days often do, with a torrent of vitriol spewing out the phone from some disgruntled minion. This day was no exception and it was Tim who was venting his fury, little, sweet Tim with the face of an angel and the soul of a viper was consumed with jealous wrath. He had noticed Simon’s little infatuation with minxie and his subsequent ignoring of warnings set by Caspar when Tim tried to intervene in the obnoxious way only a jealous little toad can, he was brusquely put back into place by the mountain himself.
Tim called me up and screeched most unpleasantly about how Caspar was not keeping any of his staff in line. Had it been any other woman in question I would have added fuel to the fire and tormented Tim accordingly however this was minxie he was spewing his fury at and even though I might destroy everything in her life I would never allow a minion the same luxury.
I reminded Tim that minxie was under my patronage, albeit a silent one and she was to be left alone. I then suggested that if he really wished to put an end to Simon’s wanderings to consider looking up an old friend of ours, the one person who could indeed stop him in his tracks and I left him with this sage advice ready to wreck whatever havoc he could manage.
However pleasant my day started it soon descended into the black rage that only minxie could arouse in my heart. How she releases the poison of jealousy into my soul, no other has ever elicited such a response and she must pay for causing me to feel emotion at her whims. I was told of how they dined in an outdoor garden in view of all prying eyes. How they conversed intently for hours and how that presumptuous wretch dared to take her hand in public. Minxie you force me into active responses, you make my interest in you obvious as I have people all over town telling me of your dealings. I can no longer view you from a distance waiting for a time to strike as you force me to act before I have laid out my tableaux. Simon will be removed from your view and you my precious will learn the price of not heeding my wishes.
