Today was a mixed bag of affairs as due to my little arranged unions I had caused ripples of havoc through both ape boy and the Vanderhag’s son, I even suggested to the one attached to ape boy that feigning a pregnancy would fatten her bank account considerably and she obliged me with a promptness that would have been admirable if she had not been such a trollop.
Although one of my arranged unions had been thwarted by the Vanderhag—the lady was far shrewder than anticipated-- I had more than made up for her intervention by arranging the union with her middle son and my vicious niece. I was lucky enough to see his misery first hand when a few friends and I dined at the local entertainment restaurant, a place where more of the local business was conducted than dining occurred. Tim had done his deed admirably and after finding our old college chum had him join us for a lovely dinner. I knew that minxie and her mountain would not pop up as I had my sources keeping a close eye upon her and there was a bit of briefing to do before I organised her ambush. I was entirely amused to observe Jago’s “other” daughter flashing a huge stone and feigning interest in Osmosis in whatever fake engagement she had cooked up, whatever keeps her in the tabloids, and annoys Daddy the most. I knew that Jago would not allow his old friend to proceed with any such relationship and that the little miss was probably just enjoying some child revenge.
Tim luckily had taken my punishment much to heart and body and remained constrained knowing that if he messed this up I would inflict a banishment upon him that would destroy any of his hopes of gaining Simon into his bed. Alex our obliging friend, although surprised to discover my need for him, appeared to remember our youthful indiscretions with affection and was only too happy to reintroduce old friends to their past, wanted or not. I enjoyed our quiet dinner knowing that in a short while I was about to become the center of minxie’s world again regardless of her wishes.
