The Deed is Done

I found minxie exactly were I knew she would be and I planned my entrance with a finesse whose cruelty I thoroughly enjoyed. I gave the foolish duo time to be seated and pleasantly dining before wandering in with my little surprise. The surprise of course was not Alex as Simon had seen him earlier, the surprise was when Alex the brazen little whore he is, walked up to Simon and kissed him very publicly on the cheek. Of course you might say that I had a hand in the little performance, well maybe I had arranged the entire performance, from Alex coming to town to him scaring Simon, to him accosting him during an intimate dinner with his lover.

It was a scene I shall replay in my mind for days as the pleasure of that moment will be unsurpassed for the rest of my life. I watched minxie first give her mountain a quizzical look, then when he did not explode in outrage nor deny and could not deny his past with Alex, her face drained of colour as the shock of his truth set in. If it were possible to see the devastation of an entire world, to watch it crumble in slow motion, I watched hers turn to dust at her feet.

She fled the primitive café, soon followed by the mountain who did not fail to send us a look of bleak hatred before he chased after a future that was not his to dream of anymore. I sat and enjoyed a hearty dinner knowing that my work was done at least for now, I still had to punish her for allowing him into her bed before me and that would take some consideration.

Alex was greatly amused by his impact upon Simon and a trifle disappointed that the mountain did not welcome him with open arms, now if only minxie had known her lover the way I had known him, sweating in my bed! She really should have taken heed of my warnings for in my way I was protecting her from the inevitable heartbreak, this was not the type of secret that he would have been able to keep from her forever. I was so satisfied with the evening that I ate two desserts.
