A Wealth of Detours

A Wealth of Detours

I found myself sidetracked by a little amusement which I could not resist for though I was in my middle of tormenting minxie in person, I considered that tormenting her by proxy would be just as fun. I set my sights upon the most annoying of her vacuous of friends, the idle daughter of the Vanderhag. This piece of artifice was so utterly banal that listening to her trite banter was almost an explanation for the existence of serial killers for her drivel was annoying enough to drive any being of intelligence to violence.

I comforted the hag over her absconding son not revealing that I had pulled the plug on his business as I had a wonderful new plan in mind, one that would prove to be irresistible to foolish young men. At the same time I allowed myself the pleasure of a few furtive brushes against the young miss while she was whining about one of the million things she took offence to. The ignorant child appears to believe the world owes her something because of her family’s status and she will learn life the hard way, this one, before becoming as pointless as her ornamental mother.>

Minxie was still with apeboy and traveling the road to disaster at an alarming rate. Perhaps the death of her mother had unhinged her in some peculiar way for she has continually ignored my warnings that her disobedience was the perpetuator of the destruction of her own relationships. I had removed a mountain, now it was time to cage an ape, my plans were falling into place and in a few weeks minxie would find herself in despair again. First however I do plan to dally a bit with the vacant miss who is so hard done by because the world does not currently revolve around her and I will lend an attentive ear, for that is all someone who loves the sound of their own voice really needs.
