The Treachery of Lechery

The Treachery of Lechery

She lied to me upon her return, it was not in the flicker of an eyelid, nor the timber of her voice, it was not even in her languid pose of great ennui. No when my cousin lies I can smell it upon her like an expensive perfume attempting to mask an offensive odor and she could not hide her treachery as I sat across from her feigning belief at her every utterance. She lied to me with the stupidity of someone who believes they can fool a being who lives his entire life several steps ahead, whose actions are fait accompli by the time the inkling of a thought rattles their brain, she lied to me stupidly, for she should realise that I always know the answers to questions I ask.

As well as I know my dear niece I knew she was not convinced of my lies as I was not convinced of hers yet we sat in my study playing our little games while mining for the information we both required. Elyce had been sent to discover what minxie was up to and whatever she discovered she was loath to reveal to me. So instead she pandered to the belief that I thought minxie was as brainless as her friends and while I allowed her this misconception I realised my little cousin was even less trustworthy than usual.

I allowed Elyce to depart despite the fire burning up my loins, the very thought of minxie being able to turn my own kin into her ally flamed the fires of my desire into an inferno. I sat back in my chair and day dreamed thoughts of sweat and leather with her sweet screams filling my ears. My reverie was rudely interrupted by the whining of minions who thought they would curry my favour by reporting the indiscretions of others. I was distracted by the foibles of the Sedero father, my friend Caspar and his new partner, of the wine baron and his continued dalliance with my sister. I viewed their petty lust from afar, bored by their mundane passions and so the world continued in it’s revolution of dull while a minx an I were involved in a life and death struggle over ownership of her soul.

Her naive attempts to thwart me amused and seduced all at once for she had no idea how wonderful her devastation would be, how at her moment of surrender I would be so consumed with my final desire I had doubts I would be able to survive its fury. So minxie was plotting with her friends and they no doubt had warned the happily engaged couple that I had them in my sights—so who will make the first move? The anticipation is exquisite, so exquisite that only my sister could contain this eruption. Minxie, see the distractions you drive me to, I am driven back to old habits I have not visited until you have graced my life. I shall return the favour by destroying yours.
