Once More With Feeling

I knew minxie had been driving about with the meat nut, his return had not gone unnoticed and I had expected a few posturing threats sent my way for nothing a brainless fool loves more than to play the shining knight rescuing the fair damsel. I half expect some form of revenge on behalf of his sister, in fact, I planned on some attempt, and it is the nature of the fool to do so. I also knew he was not about to attempt to rescue minxie for my sweet would hang his testicles out to dry, for the Dubois women if anything, knew how to take care of themselves in the big bad world, it was their own men they never managed to control.

As my errant cousin left the compound this morning it crossed my mind that the dear girl and I were long overdue a little chat, mainly to discover what delights the minx and her fellow conspirators had in store for me. It did not worry me that she might lie to me for I expected it as I had learned many years ago that everyone lied, you just had to know how to read their lies. Without knowing Elyce was going to tell me everything I wanted to know and although this was not sporting of me to know their plans in advance I have never been an honorable man and I saw no reason to start now.

I found myself left to my own devices and playing this waiting game did not suit me so a myriad of plans, to set the ball into motion so to speak, crossed my mind. The problem with educating minxie is that she was no longer intimidated by Liselle or Ladonna as she now handled both deftly and the last encounter Liselle had with her left my sister with somewhat less than generous description with ‘stupid girl’ the recurrent statement from her lips. Liselle as a reluctant as a messenger as she is did not appreciate being challenged quite as frequently as minxie managed and how this delicious thought hardened more than my resolve. The gathering of the substandard in their little rebellion was as amusing as it was foolhardy, one could never call my sweet dull, shame she will pay with her skin.

I have managed to strip away anyone who might give her support for once her friends have full view of the reality of my power they will abandon her to me in a second. They have had yet but a taste of Gervais for I have cracked only their immediate worlds as I can strip away the status, the wealth, the lives of their entire families, and once the little pretties realise the big bad wolf really does have sharp teeth they will quail and leave their plots where they belong, in their dreams. This resolution has been a long time coming and I have been far more patient with her than any other woman of my acquaintance as I wished to see this charade to its inevitable ending, I have been a patient, enduring player, now I will take what is duly mine.

Today I can feel the blood burning in my veins for I am not a man of passions yet there is a little miss who stirs mine and it is time she pays the price of this. I will call her and remind her that getting rid of the mountain was on the first part of our agreement and the second was for her presence in the compound. It is time for us to be acquainted as only a family really can enjoy, as my sister and cousin had been enjoyed. I will alert the staff that we shall be expecting a guest for all paths lead to Gervais in the end.
